The WGA invites you to actively contribute to the congress by submitting an abstract for consideration and inclusion in the program of the 11th World Glaucoma Congress. Abstract Submissions will open in September.

Why submit an abstract for the 11th World Glaucoma Congress?

- Improve or showcase your presentation skills to an international audience and add this educational achievement to your curriculum.
Submission guidelines
- Abstract title: The title should be brief, and interesting and describe the focus of your research.
- Format: The abstract content should not exceed 2500 characters including spaces and punctuation.
- Structure: Abstracts should be structured as follows: Purpose, Methods, Results, Conclusion.
- Language: Abstracts should be submitted in English. Please take time to review spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
- Method: Abstracts can be submitted via the online Abstract Submission Platform only. Abstracts sent by email will not be accepted.
- Draft: You can create your abstract and temporarily leave it in a draft. All drafts need to be saved as final submissions by the submission deadline.
- Changes: Once submitted, it is not possible to make any corrections to the abstract content or information (such as authors list and details, topic, conclusion(s), etc…).
- Authors: A presenting author can submit more than 1 abstract as presenting author.
Acceptance & presentation opportunities
All abstracts received by the indicated deadline will be evaluated by the Program Planning Committee. Acceptance, together with technical details for presentation (oral or poster presentation), will be notified to the presenting author.
